Our first offering was created while we were training our staff. Terroir! How can the same grape taste so different from different regions.

Chardonnay is one of the most famous varietals, and no matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn! Originally from Burgundy, the wine has spread across the world and flourished. So, take a global tour and experience everything Chardonnay has to offer! This six pack, featuring top-quality 2018 wines from around the world, will allow you to compare (and enjoy) the different styles and expressions of international winemakers and terroirs.

The Three Terroirs

From Big Table Farm Winery in Oregon we have Wild Bee Chardonnay.  Located in the renowned region of Willamette Valley, the 2018 Chardonnay is a wonderful expression of this boutique winery with only 815 cases produced. Whether you’re just beginning to explore or are already a connoisseur, this wine is sure to please with aromas of warm apple pie and bright acidity that continues into its mouthwatering finish.

Brian Marcy and Clare Carver moved to Oregon from Napa in 2006 following a ten year stint of Brian working with the likes of Turley, Neyers, and Marcassin. What started out as a 150 case, mic-lot production project has grown into one of the most unique winery operations in the country.

Big Table Farm

Continuing in the New World, we arrive at New Zealand’s Kumeu River, which was started by Mick Brajkovich in 1944 and a pioneered winemaker in Aukland, New Zealand. Kumeu River Chardonnays are often referred to as Burgundian – but with this pack you can assess for yourself. Their Estate Chardonnay is one of their most expressive, but maintains a freshness and approachability that makes it suited for drinking when young.

"Still a Kiwi classic, Kumeu River's 2016 Estate Chardonnay features toasted grain aromas, ripe peach and nectarine flavors and a long, citrus-inflected finish. It's medium-bodied, with a plump, silky texture and up to a decade of aging potential."

- Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
