Brasserie Mémère, created by the team at Silk Road Restaurant LLC and celebrated Chef Thomas Ciszak, is a casual French restaurant located in Closter, NJ. Design Firm VLDG, former Rockwell Group designers took cues from the La Belle Epoque, Art Nouveau design era, the sienna and deep blue complementary color palette, cognac colored wood, and custom 30 foot zinc bar top reflects the feeling of comfort, familiarity, and timelessness.
Besides the dramatic dining and private dining area, the restaurant will feature a pastry retail area, café-bar area and a private outdoor patio.
Mémère will feature authentic, moderately priced offerings for everyday dining, along with specialty cocktails, craft beer and carefully curated wines. Mémère translates to “granny” in French and named in honor of Chef Ciszak's grandmother, who first inspired him to cook.
